At Arlynton Designs (www.arlynton.com), we take great pride in the craftsmanship of our furniture. As a specialist in custom-made pieces, including our signature Nigerian cultural collections, we have established the following policy to ensure transparency and fairness in all transactions.

POLICY OVERVIEW

This document outlines the conditions under which returns, refunds, or exchanges may be granted. By purchasing from Arlynton, you agree to the terms specified herein.

1. STANDARD PRODUCT RETURNS

For non-customised, standard items kept in stock, we offer a return period of seven (7) days from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return:

• The item must be in its original, unused condition.
• The item must be in its original packaging.
• Proof of purchase from Arlynton must be provided.

2. CUSTOM AND MODIFIED ITEMS

A significant portion of our catalogue consists of Variable Products. This includes furniture with custom dimensions (e.g., specific headboard heights), custom fabric selections (e.g., black leather, leaf green velvet, or bouclé), and cultural modifications.

Strict Non-Refundable Policy: Because these items are manufactured to your unique specifications, they are non-refundable and non-returnable unless they arrive with a verifiable manufacturing defect or functional failure.

3. MANUFACTURING DEFECTS AND DAMAGES

We maintain rigorous quality control. However, if an item arrives damaged or defective:

• Claims must be filed within 48 hours of receipt.
• Customers must provide photographic evidence of the defect or damage.
• Arlynton Designs reserves the right to repair the item on-site, replace the defective part, or replace the entire unit at our discretion.

4. NATURAL VARIATIONS

Customers acknowledge that furniture made from natural materials, including wood, HDF, and leather, may exhibit inherent variations in grain, texture, and colour. Such natural characteristics are not considered defects and do not qualify for returns or refunds.

5. REFUND PROCESS

Once a return is approved and the item is received and inspected:

• We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
• Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 14 business days.
• Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.

6. GOVERNING LAW

This policy is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, specifically in compliance with the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act.
